About Us

This journey of discovery is centered on “Finding the Treasure Called Mary” in our lives. Through prayer, learning, reflection, fellowship, and shared experiences, participants are invited to take meaningful steps toward a deeper relationship with the Blessed Virgin Mary and, through her, a closer relationship with her Son, Jesus Christ.

Finding the Treasure Called Mary grew from a personal journey that began at a Marian retreat at Saint Columbkille Parish. Like many Catholics, I was familiar with Mary’s feast days, devotions, and the Rosary, and had read many books about her. Yet for many years, I did not fully understand who the Blessed Virgin Mary was on a personal level or how to develop a meaningful relationship with her.

 

That began to change when I intentionally set out to discover Mary more deeply—not simply to learn about her, but to understand her place in my own spiritual life. What began as a personal journey gradually became something I felt called to share with others.

 

From that experience, Finding the Treasure Called Mary Apostlate was born: an opportunity for others to discover the beauty of the Blessed Virgin Mary, deepen their faith, and experience more fully how Mary continually leads us to her Son.

Today, Finding the Treasure Called Mary is in its seventh season at Saint Columbkille Parish in Parma, Ohio, with the tremendous support and participation of our Finding Mary members and the encouragement of Father Anthony Suso, Pastor of Saint Columbkille Parish in Parma, Ohio.

Who (audience): Who: All are welcome! We invite families, couples, and individuals who desire to deepen their relationship with the Blessed Virgin Mary and, through her, grow closer to Jesus Christ.
